Comporta Retreat
The Comporta Retreat project was conceived to capture the spirit of Comporta, a region celebrated for its raw beauty, laid-back elegance and exclusivity. The project aimed to create a harmonious connection between the natural landscape and the architectural design, while offering a private and luxurious retreat.
Approach
The team embraced the essence of Comporta’s slow living philosophy, designing 28 exclusive plots within a secluded 12-hectare estate. With a focus on sustainability, wood was chosen as the primary material, blending seamlessly with the pristine pine forest and enhancing the region’s natural beauty. The visuals emphasized the project’s unique location on a hill with breathtaking views of the rice fields and the Atlantic Ocean.
